Ms. Lassiter founded Perfectly Polished in 1985 out of a desire and commitment to make respect and courtesy the standard for young people in northeast Georgia. Today, the program has more than 1,250 currently enrolled students, and thousands of graduates.
Ms. Lassiter is an expert in the business etiquette field. In addition to her certification by the Protocol School of Washington, Washington, D.C., she has trained with the Steven Covey organization. Currently, she presents and facilitates business etiquette programs for corporations and state organizations through her work with the Etiquette & Leadership Institute, a program she founded in September 2005 with Cindy Haygood and April McLean when they acquired the Children's Training Division of the Protocol School of Washington.
Ms. Haygood founded Perfectly Polished with the principle that each student should receive personal commitment with kindness and a loving spirit. She has a special interest in the younger students and considers teaching, a career she began more than twenty years ago, one of her greatest accomplishments.
In addition to her work with Perfectly Polished and the Etiquette & Leadership Institute, Ms. Haygood is also active in her community. She is active in the Georgia Children’s Chorus, the Board of Advisors of Athens First Baptist Church, and the Oconee County High School PTO.
Ms. Haygood is certified by the Protocol School of Washington, Washington, D.C.
Ms. McLean has a great affinity for and experience working with young people. Previously, she served as a youth director and teacher, and has worked with children of all ages, but as the mother of two sons she has a special interest in teens and especially bringing young gentlemen into etiquette programs.
With a background in special events, party planning, costuming, and interior design, Ms. McLean brings a special focus in creating effective programs that are fun to Perfectly Polished.
Ms. McLean is certified by the Protocol School of Washington, Washington, D.C.
